Description:

This workshop will address the rapid treatment of trauma and psychosomatic disorders by utilizing an Ericksonian orientation that understands the importance of the symptom as a pathway to inner healing. The skills needed for the rapid treatment of trauma will be reviewed. The course will highlight Ericksonian methods for the immediate reorganization of transforming somatic-affective experience into new healing rhythms in the body.

Educational Objectives:

  1. To list two styles of trance for rapid induction.
  2. To list three clinical skills for healing and resolution.

Anita Jung LPC, DAPA, originally from Europe, is most well known for weaving together a tapestry of music and trance to access and transform therapeutic states. She routinely teaches by invitation to professional audiences internationally. Her therapeutic CDs incorporate music and Ericksonian hypnosis and are published in the United States and in Germany. In addition to a private practice she serves as the President of the Central Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis and directs the Counseling Services Division at Life-Works in Austin, Texas.
