This training is designed to expand on material and practice from the Erickson Foundation’s Intensive Training Program. It is comprised of three parts:
(1) Case consultation,
(2) Discussion of the utilization of clinical hypnosis with specific topical areas (e.g., anxiety, personality disorders), and
(3) Practice exercises. A question and answer period will be included in each session.
There will be six sessions in September and October, 2025 of 2.5 hours each. A total of 15 continuing credit hours is available. The sessions will be scheduled on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 12:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time and will be recorded for later viewing as well.
Eligibility:
Participation in Intensive Training Program. Including Level C, or equivalent (e.g., ASCH fundamental and intermediate level workshops) who hold a master or doctoral degree in a mental health profession or students in such at an accredited college or university. It is strongly recommended that participants are utilizing hypnosis in some professional manner.
The Milton H. Erickson Foundation, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Milton H. Erickson Foundation, Inc., designates this live activity for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Brent B. Geary, Ph.D. is a psychologist in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Since 1988, he has also been the Director of Training for the Milton H. Erickson Foundation. Dr. Geary has presented internationally on Ericksonian topics since 1991 and throughout most of the United States. He is coeditor of two books with Jeffrey K. Zeig, Ph,D., The Handbook of Ericksonian Psychotherapy and The Letters of Milton H. Erickson.
