This presentation will demonstrate the utilization of the Ericksonian position on change within the framework of Redecision Transactional Analysis. Permission, co-creating a unique response, develop-mental meaning of symptoms, and creating new responses to the environment will be illustrate using volunteers attending the program.
In triads, you will experience contract setting, autonomy issues, the power of positive stroking, and redecision therapy. This will be demonstrated by using volunteer participants.
Using fantasy, remembrances of things past, the present, and how to aim toward and get in the future, every attendee will participate as leader and client in group exercises.
This approach is a short-term, focused psychotherapy that uses clear contracts for change, respect for the autonomy of the client, imaginative games, effective self-reparenting, and client redecision. Emphasized will be freeing the client from early "stuck" spots. Lecture, case presentation, and large-group exercises.
