Any life crisis can render a person metaphorically infertile. Using the frenzy of literal infertility as a springboard, this workshop will offer participants the opportunity, in trance, to explore personal circumstances and universal elements of infertility of any kind. The hypnotic process will aim to facilitate the creation of the eye of the storm, and aim to locate the powerful presence of the "I" which often gets shattered in the frenzied state.
Therapists who perform marital and sex therapy often become “vanilla-ized” by conservative and moralistic values espoused by the psy- chotherapy industry. Through a series of permissive group inductions attendees will reconnect with their erotic self. They will also engage in future foreplay regarding potential erotic selves. By more fully experiencing the erotic self, therapists will be more effective in working with sexually diverse clients who desire consensual BDSM, kink, fetish, and multi-partner experiences.
Almost 20% of people of a child-bearing age suffer with infertility. Hypnotic interventions are a powerful short-cut to treatment. Attendees will learn how to use creative thinking and hypnotic protocols to develop personalized scripts to use with clients.
Infertility is devastating. Few have coping skills adequate enough to manage the intense physical and emotional demands of the experience, which can drag on without resolution for a long time. A didactic introduction will sensitize registrants to the gestalt of infertility. Effective treatment options with emphasis on letting-go techniques will be shared didactically and experientially.
According to research (Rashidian et al. 2015), Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder ‘Vaginismus’, causes significant sexual challenges for groups of sub-population women in the US. This workshop provides raw data and statistical analysis, supporting the hypothesis that these women experienced sexual pain as a manifestation of biopsychosocial conditions, resulting from cultural orientations. These include the cultural do’s and don’ts that shapes sub-population women’s sexual beliefs and attitudes, as a result of their life experiences within their cultures, impacting emotional and physical sexual experiences negatively.
